Sunflower Seeds

Raw sunflower seeds are an excellent source of Vitamin E and magnesium as well as providing Copper, Iron, Zinc, and some Calcium. A quarter of a cup provides 90% of the daily recommended intake of Vitamin E and 32% of the daily value of magnesium. They are low in saturated fat and a good source of dietary fiber. Sunflower seeds also contain a trace element know as selenium, which is fundamental to human well being. A quarter of a cup provides around 30% of you daily intake value.
